Tech Deck Grimm Dudes (2003)

Grimm Dudes were released by X-Concepts LLC/Tech Deck, but they are outside of the numbering system that the mainline dudes/dudettes and Creatures fall into.

These dudes were based on Grimm's fairy tales and other popular European fables.

They didn't do too well, since they faded within a year.

Chapter 1 (2003):

Based on the back of their packaging, Chapter 1 was manufactured in 2002, but the press release below indicates they hit shelves in February 2003.

Chapter 2 (2003):

**Note: Chapter 2 is much harder to find.

These figures (3.5 -4 inches) are bigger than Tech Deck Dudes (2.25-2.5 inches) but smaller than The Creatures, which, if I had to guess, are 4.5 or 5 inches tall.
Grimm Dudes have elongated boards like Creatures, but they are not nearly as lengthy.

UNRELEASED/CANCELLED: Chapter 3 (would've been 2004?):

There were typically 6 Grimm Dudes per set, but only two can be found for the unreleased Series 3.
Will we ever figure out if and what the remaining four would've been?! Stay tuned.
Left: "Big Hand," Right "Tortoise and Hare."

While Grimm Dudes are common in Dude lots, the added cost to produce mixed with the fact that they were not as big as the regular dudes or skate crew made them one of the first lines left in the scrap bin.
