G4 Street Crew (2007-2009) a.k.a "Ridiculously Awesome!"

G4 Single Packs fell under the name "Street Crew" with the new slogan of "Ridiculously Awesome".

The first two crews still had magnetic feet like G3 figures but added holes in their backs to plug into the new dude display stands. Each dude no longer came with a card or Clash cube pack.
Rather, they either came with the aforementioned display stand or an accessory.

The removal of magnets was for safety reasons and/or cost-saving. I tend to think it's more the former than the latter. If it was for just cutting costs, then why simultaneously decide to give each figure a display stand to plug into, custom cardboard backgrounds, and accessories? This was likely a swap out because the team knew they needed to work on a new feature with the magnets ripped out for safety reasons.

Anyways, back to the dudes. Each crew had a theme (i.e. street, warriors, comics, etc).

Everything you see below was very well-compiled by a fellow TDD blogger named Steve Rotters, now known as Toy Insanity on Youtube. Huge shoutout to him, much of what our group knew going into collecting in we learned from him. For the rest, we were able to correct or build upon his work by scouting eBay, finding rare items, and exploring the Wayback Machine for the X-Concepts LLC and Tech Deck Dude websites.

2007- "Street" (the first and only Street Crew packs of 2007)

This is also the only Street Crew series with magnetic feet and boards (although the scale of these boards is much smaller than in G1-G3)

These are the first figures with plug-backs- although strangely there would be 3-pack and 6-pack figures in 2008 without the plug-backs).

NOTE: FROM HERE ON... The Toyline single packs no longer have different colored boards. In fact, almost every dude from this end-of-2007 Crew to 2009 when the line was canceled all have the same monotonous red boards with the exception of three TRU-exclusive 6-packs in 2008.

071 - Eddie - street punk (Near-identical to a Toys R Us 6-pack from 2006, now with green hair)
082 - Barney - street cop (Near-identical reprint of E9 crew)
096 - Turbo - street performer (Bendy armed reprint of the E3 single pack variant)
124 - Cheeze - "street enforcer" (The Warriors) (Near-exact reprint from Clash Crew 1)
138- Radd - 1980's skater
139A - Clobber - Mr. T
"While many TDD characters have had different versions of sculpts, Clobber is the only character to ever have both an "A" or "B" marker as part of his molds. Both figures came out around the same time. #139A is the regular "Street Crew" version, and #139B is Clobber in a hot dog costume. 139B was exclusive to the Vanformer playset. Also, when Spin Master took over, Clobber became the mascot or spokesperson for the toyline. He can be seen in the TDD commercials of 2008."- Steve Rotters

2008 - Martial Arts

This crew still has magnetic and shrunken in-scale magnetic boards from the ones above.

019 - Nick - Snake Eyes
020 - Bruce - Kato (Bruce Lee) (Near exact reprint from Evolution Series 9)
032 - Fu Man Finger - Sensei Wu
052 - Ronin - samurai

140 Robo Supreme - Ultraman

2008 - Warriors

Correcting another misprint, the original image from the Tech Deck Dude Museum shows Green Henry in this series and another below, but the Henry in this crew is blue.

This is the first crew with plug-feet and no magnets, but their boards had a metal strip for compatibility with older dudes.
038 - Erik - viking
047 - Aztec Bull
048 - Henry - knight (Near-exact reprint from Evolution Crew 5 single pack)
