Sturgeon is a parody of The Creature to the Black Lagoon
He along with Adam's G1 Batman mold dudes is one of the most popular dudes bought by non-collectors. It is worth noting, this dude never got a re-release besides his first single and multi-pack. Sturgeon shockingly did not return in G4.
He did appear as a concept art on the back of 8-Packs in G1. However, this design never became a toy.
