Tek is the first "G1" robot TDD. With that said, it is clear that Tek (unlike the other robots) is a finger in costume (like Petey). Tek has 5 "G1" variants, the rarest being the gold one.

G2 TEK:
G2 Tek has 2 variants: the first is a Hot Feet version of his G1 mold with arms
Mold #1: This re-molding of the G1 Tek mold was packed in with the Launch-A-Dude playset:
The second G2 mold Tek had was a more robotic version, as opposed to his original cybernetic armored human look.
This new mold released in Evolution Crew 1 in 2003 had one lens eye, a large sensor atop his head, a robot build, and metallic claws.

Playset-Exclusive: Featured in the Loop-N-Grind playset
G3 Tek:
Tek's G3 mold is just his G2 mold with bendable arms with holes that allow the metal wires to breathe.
G3 (left) has two arms facing upwards, G2 has one up and one down in a static position, since G2 arms cannot be moved.
This G3 version of the G2 color variant was released in the Space Town version of the Bare Knuckle Grind game in 2004 (alongside Rozz).
G3 Tek:
In 2004, a few of the originally G2 dudes from E1 received bendable arm variants in single-packs.

Tek's final variant was this yellow variant released in 2006 in the Clash Crew Series 2, which was then re-used in Zoods Series 7. Now, packed with a robot Zood named CPU.

SUPER RARE E3 Exclusive Tek:
This Exclusive E3 Con Tek is among the hardest figures to track down.
The Tech Deck Dude Holiday exclusive "Holidudes" were limited to 500 figures, but I honestly think this Tek might have been even more limited. This figure has a Toys R Us scanner on its bubble, so perhaps X-Concepts printed these for Toys R Us's E3 panel? I'm not sure. Since he has static arms, I would assume this Tek was released in 2003 to promote the G2 "Evolution" dudes. He does not come with trading cards like the dudes started coming with in 2003, so this may be a sign he was released before the Evolution Crews hit shelves.
