#027 - Woody

Woody is a very stereotypical pirate, which is really all you could ask for in his figure. Curiously, they later decided on creating a second "G1" pirate (Splinter) who you will meet later. I almost understand this notion (creating 2 similar figures) when it comes to something as simple as a "punk," a "robot," or a snowboarder/surfer. When it comes to a pirate, however, Woody was doing a fine job pulling the weight. Woody has the triangular hat with the "jolly roger" insignia, the peg leg, eyepatch, and would later be given a hook and a parrot. I repeat, Splinter is/was completely unnecessary. Woody has 3 fairly similar "G1" variants.

There he is!
Woody was Re-issued in a 2009 TRU 6-pack with 5 other re-issued 2008 single pack dudes.
These dudes' plug boards no longer had a magnetic strip and have a paper logo, Baumer is missing his racket, the cards included no longer have bios on the back, and this just shows the line was cancelled and just releasing a final wave of products.
